Calcium bromide, chemical formula CaBr2. Chemical formula CaBr2. Molecular weight 199.90. Colorless orthorhombic crystal. Deliquescence easily. The melting point is 730°C (with trace decomposition), the boiling point of is 806-812°C, and the relative density is 3.35325. Its hexahydrate is a colorless hexagonal crystal with a melting point of 38.2°C, a boiling point of 149°C and a relative density of 2.295.

Product Application
Calcium Bromide is used during workover and completion operations to provide a clear brine fluid at a density up to 14.2 lb/gal (1700 kg/m3). It provides inhibition, preventing the hydration and migration of swelling clays, and can be used as packer fluids or to adjust the density of other brine systems.It may also be used in the aqueous phase of invert emulsion systems.
Product Packing
Powder:Packed in 25kg bag.
Liquid:Packed in 55 USG HDPE drum or 1000 Litres IBC (Tote tank).
Store in dry, well-ventilated area. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames. Store away from incompatibles. Follow safe warehousing practices regarding palletizing, banding, shrink-wrapping and /or stacking.
