Potassium dihydrogen phosphate, is an inorganic compound, the chemical formula is KH2PO4, there is deliquency, heating to 400ºC melting into a transparent liquid, after cooling solidification into opaque glass potassium monophosphate. It is stable in air, soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol. It is used in industry as buffering agent, culture agent, also as flavoring agent for synthesis of sake by bacterial culture agent, raw material for making potassium metaphosporate, cultivation agent, strengthening agent, leavening agent, fermentation assistant for brewing yeast, and efficient phosphorus and potassium compound fertilizer in agriculture.
